"I went to Stephanie Slaski today about a small mark on my skin next to my eye. After she assured me that it was not a problem and not likely to become cancerous, she asked me about a prominent sebaceous cyst on my upper front neck (which had been there for about 40 years). Previous dermatologists had told me that the only thing I could do would be to have it cut open, resulting in a nice big 2-inch Frankenstein scar as a bonus. Stephanie suggested a pinpoint approach, and said that she thought it would open easily. Naturally I took her up on it. She promptly squeezed out the contents, causing no pain whatsoever and flattening out the cyst. She assured me that she would be able to repeat the procedure if it fills up again.This was not the first time Stephanie had saved me from a skin ailment. Previously I presented to her with cystic rosetia which had been provoked by another dermatologist who had treated me with a steroid on the face, which I later learned was an obvious no-no. Stephanie treated me with a topical antibiotic-antiseptic combination, and a very temporary internal antibiotic, The issue was soon resolved.Stephane Slaski treats her patients with more than respect - in fact she is quite outgoing and interested in people generally. I could be wrong, but I think this “human factor” plays an important role in successful medical treatment, partly because the personal connection encourages a patient to trust and follow the directions of a healing professional.In both my consultations with Stephanie Slaski, I received successful treatment and solid advice on skin care.
