How Does Fraxel DUAL Work?
At your consultation, we will assess your skin to determine the best treatment plan for your concerns and goals, including which of the two laser modes will be used. When you come for your Fraxel DUAL treatment, you will lie back comfortably in one of our treatment chairs while your treatment is performed. A numbing cream will be applied to your skin to help reduce any discomfort you may feel during the treatment. The handpiece will then be glided across the treatment areas in different directions. Most procedures take 10 – 20 minutes, depending on the treatment areas. You may feel a slight prickly or warm feeling during the treatment and experience some redness and peeling for a few day afterward. To help soothe the skin, a cool compress can be applied to the treatment area.
