Although there is no cure for psoriasis, you'll find a variety of options available to treat the condition, depending on the location, severity, and type of psoriasis you have. Mild cases may be treated with prescription creams, ointments, and lotions. If your scalp is affected, shampoos, sprays, and oils may be utilized. For those with moderate to severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, systemic medications that are taken orally or by injection may be needed. These are therapies that can target the psoriasis pathway throughout your body. What are the symptoms of psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a skin condition that is often characterized by red, scaly patches. Common symptoms can include:

- Plaques that may appear on both sides of the body, commonly elbows, knees, and buttocks
- Scalp involvement ranging from minor scaling to thick, crusted plaques
- Itching, especially before flare-ups
- Skin bleeding when scales are picked or scraped off

This dermatology office is a 5 star experience. The greeting was warm, friendly and professional. The wait time for my appointment was 5 minutes. The PA-C I booked with was awesome. The practice is very lucky to have Stephanie Slaski. She examined and probed and cut as needed. Completely painless. Just professional. She is a 5 star provider. Now, Laser and Skin is a little far from where I live, but I will be making them my primary Dermatology practice incorporating them into my overall health journey. Special shoutouts to Lauren and Stephanie for creating the atmosphere of warmth and caring that makes Laser and Skin a cut above the rest.
I would highly recommend Stephanie Slaski, PA-C. She was so personalble and listened to my concerns and gave me great suggestions and solutions. I will definately go back and recommend her to others.
I’ve been getting Botox for over 5 years, and I can honestly say that Stephanie gave me the least painful Botox I’ve ever received. Her technique is incredible, and the entire experience was so comfortable. She offers such high-touch service, paying close attention to every detail, and was so easy to talk to throughout the entire process. I felt completely at ease, and the results were fantastic.
